Dr. Aldo Sol Medina Ruffolo studied medicine at UNC University in Mendoza, Argentina. He completed surgical training at Hospital Ferroviario, Hospital Vélez Sarsfield and Hospital de Gastroenterología Dr. Carlos Bonorino Udaondo.
After completing the specialist examination of the Argentinian Association for Coloproctology, he continued training in pelvic-floor disorders at Cleveland Clinic Florida and the University of Valparaíso in Chile.
For 19 years, Dr. Medina was a member of staff at Procthos Clinics in Mendoza. He was also a founder and member of the Mendoza Society of Coloproctology. He later moved to Málaga and joined Clínica Sandalf in Benalmádena.
Dr. Medina treats conditions affecting the anus, rectum and colon, including haemorrhoids, anal fistulas and fissures. His work includes outpatient rubber-band procedures and laser surgery, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted infections and colon cancer.
